Stuck.

There comes a time and a place where sometimes you have to be real and tell it like it is. Right? Especially when it comes to those you care about (friends). What can you do... telling the truth is painful and quite annoying actually but it has to be done sometimes.

Lately a lot of people have said certain things about someone who I care about, and I know they care about as well, but have been having some trouble with this particular person. And I don't know why. Well okay. Here's the thing. This person is smart and funny and kind blah blah blah.... but lately they have been doing things that some people we hang out with feel stupid and they say that this person being fake and all they wants is attention.

Which is true. But how do you tell your really good friend that what they're doing people including yourself feel are stupid and they just need to stop trying to be the center of attention? Don't get me wrong I can tell people the truth and get over it real quick... but what do you do when you don't want that to happen? If I tell this person what's happening, they'll get offended and think I'm being rude and mean, if another close friends tells this person they'll feel like that person is being self righteous and get offended, and if the whole group that we hang out with does some sort of intervention for them... then this person will particularly hate us all and of course be offended and not talk to us for forever....

So. What's the plan? Let it go since we all know their is only so much you can do and just keep talking about it behind their back or be the one to give tough love and see what the outcome is?
