What is there in the English language to say about what happened in
Connecticut today? about where the presents will go that had those
precious babies' names on them that will no longer run down to the
Christmas tree to rip off the paper and open? about what pain will last
for all of eternity in the parents' and families' hearts and what hole
will never be filled again? This is horrific, and I know that down deep,
this did not happen because of gun laws existing or not existing,
rather because of the sin that is present in every. single. human.
being. since the beginning of time and the lack of guidance in the home.
Parents (I'm not one yet), we must band together to be courageous and
selfless, to teach our children what is truly right and wrong, to
discipline, and to encourage and discourage. We must be strong and we
must not give up, for we are creating a heritage and a legacy.
I am completely heartbroken for those of you dealing with this
awful, frustrating, angry pain and I am praying with and for you. And
not just for the next week or so, but for as long as the pain will last -
which we know is forever; it will not just go away, but please be
encouraged that all of America is on your side and you are not alone.
RIP my angels.
